The beauty of Lana’s dynamic approach is her diverse background and experience. Being born on the East coast, yet now living in Denver provides her a broader lens. Lana has also lived in Toluca, Mexico and traveled around Spain for several months. Lana speaks Spanish fluently and used to speak Italian well (who knows anymore!). Combine all of that with her own ethnic and racial diversity, Lana brings a unique and fresh perspective to her work.
That work includes more than 20 years of combined experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. More than half of those years include Sales, Marketing, Event Management, Health & Wellness, Franchise Ownership and Entrepreneurship. Lana’s non-profit experience includes ministry, education (as both a teacher and administrator), a tutoring organization and a teen mentoring organization.
Lana uses the wisdom gained through her own life experiences to lay the foundation to authentic, meaningful conversations that positively impact people, teams and organizations. Because of Lana’s coaching and facilitation skills, she is masterful at helping teams navigate conversations that are emotionally charged or otherwise challenging. She is most passionate about emotional intelligence, equity, justice & inclusion, young people and leadership.
Lana’s Certifications include:
Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths Coach

Lana’s Coaching & Facilitating Philosophy:
Lana’s approach to her work is rooted in emotional intelligence. If we focus on the humans doing the work, then we get a higher quality work. When we focus on what is driving our actions, then we get lasting change through intentional action. Her favorite quote reveals her coaching philosophy: “When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” -Wayne Dyer
